Overview
Tanzania is a wonderful place for going on a safari. You will see amazing views, lots of animals, and different cultures. This trip will bring you to Ngorongoro Crater. You can enjoy the beautiful colors and lots of animals there. Then you’ll go to Serengeti, which is really special and is protected by UNESCO. There are many animals like lions and cheetahs. At certain times, there’s also a big movement of wildebeests.
Itinerary
Highlights: Baobab trees, large elephant herds.
- Activities:
- Morning pickup from your location in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
- Drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours).
- Game drive exploring the park’s unique ecosystem and wildlife.
- Overnight: Lodge or tented camp near Tarangire.
Highlights: Tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and the alkaline lake.
- Activities:
- Morning drive to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 1.5 hours).
- Game drive to see flamingos, baboons, and other wildlife against the dramatic Rift Valley backdrop.
- Overnight: Lodge or tented camp near Lake Manyara.
- Highlights: Endless plains, the Big Five, and the Great Migration (seasonal).
- Activities:
- Early departure for Serengeti National Park (approx. 4-5 hours).
- Afternoon game drive to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and herds of herbivores.
- Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti.
- Highlights: Sunrise game drive, wildlife migration, Ngorongoro crater rim.
- Activities:
- Morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch predators in action.
- Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 3-4 hours).
- Enjoy the breathtaking views from the crater rim.
- Overnight: Lodge or tented camp on the crater rim.
- Highlights: UNESCO World Heritage Site, diverse wildlife in the crater.
- Activities:
- Early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
- Explore the caldera’s unique ecosystem with opportunities to see rhinos, lions, and flamingos.
- Afternoon return to Arusha (approx. 4 hours) or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
